Always go single. The 780Ti is almost as powerful and you won't have driver and frame pacing issues. Save yourself the trouble. If the x290 wasn't so damn expensive, i'd recommend that, but at this time.. the 780 Ti beats it out.

It's usually best to just get 1 card. If you can afford it, and your system won't bottleneck it, the 780 is your best bet. SLI/Crossfire, while they have come a long way, they still run into problems at times, especially with newer games, where the drivers sometimes still need to be tweaked...

YOu'll see minimal differences in CPU heavy games. So it's definitely not worth the cost of upgrade to replace your CPU and your motherboard.

I wouldn't pick either one... they're heavily overpriced. The extra Vram wouldn't help much on the GTX 670 unless you're planning on running multiple screens.

Is it running hot at all?

If you can afford a 670, you might as well go for the HD 7950, with a little overclock it will outperform the 670, for a lower price.

I honestly wouldn't risk it. 280 watts is already fairly low, and that's without knowing how many watts are on the 12v rail. Check to see how many amps are on the 12v+ rail, and then multiply the Volts with the Amps, that gives you a Wattage. Furthermore, I don't even know if the motherboard...

I believe you're forgetting that most of apple's "innovative" ideas, were done way before they did it. Tablets, even the iPod wasn't an original idea. So don't preach about the situation like Apple's never done it.

The definition of "good" depends entirely on what it will be used for.

To be honest with you, a 430 watt power supply doesn't seem that smart to me. As someone said earlier, you want at least 40 amps on the +12 volt rail, that alone is over 400 watts... Do not, I repeat do NOT skimp out on your power supply. I'd get a powersupply that has 40amps on the 12 volt...

Between those two, definitely the GTX 650. What do you mean by "excellent".. 1080? Cards like those probably won't get 250 fps but they will get more than 60, which incidentally is the number of refreshes your screen can perform anyway

Unless you buy the equivalent to the GPU in your APU... no.
