I... didn't check the CMOS battery back then.. For me though, mine's probably bricked, or something is horribly wrong with it.. No signs of life at all, as if the power isn't even plugged in.. It was a cheapo motherboard though, so I didn't care about it really... Still, the only time I tried...

Oh, oh, I had a very similar experience with my ASRock A320M (the cheapest motherboard I could find back then)... Tried to update the BIOS when I wanted to upgrade from a Ryzen 3 1200 to a Ryzen 5 2600... It was still stuck at 30% after waiting for 12+ hours.. Cue me perusing countless forum...

Kind of a shot in the dark, but have you checked to make sure that you connected the 24-pin ATX connector properly? A similar thing happened to me some time ago. A massive lightning struck close by and power immediately went out for hours... When it came back on, PC didn't even show any signs...

I also despised Rivals, had horrible experience playing it, but I'm sure it was on me, it had rather subpar performance at launch (I think it was stuck on 30 FPS, kindly correct me if I'm mistaken) and I was playing it on a woefully underpowered machine with GTX 950M and a Skylake era laptop...

I didn't know there's a name for that kind of cases... I have some experience with Darkflash cases (not the aquarium model) and fans. They're quite decent. Albeit that doesn't mean much coming from me considering my so-so standards..

They seem to be just fine, even though every time I hear Rambus the first thing on my mind is "wait, the patent troll guys?" They really drove their reputation into the ground for casual people like me with those shenanigans
