    Could be a bad cap on the motherboard...but I doubt that noise is coming from your i5... could be from a fan, could be a bad cap on the mobo...but the i5? nopes.

    Pc stuck on Mobo screen and starts powering stops for 2 seconds and continues

    Try clearing the cmos, unplug the pc press and hold the power button for 5 seconds while it's unplugged, then open the case remove the cmos battery wait 5 minutes, put the cmos battery back in, turn the pc on and try to enter bios, usually Del or F2...let me know what happens...
