Tested furmark and got a max temp of 72c. But when im in games its locked @ 50

The temp limit in msi afterburner is @ 80c but its still locked at 50. what do i do?

When idle my gpu temp is at 49-50c under load is also 50-51c so my gpu usage is very low in short my gpu is locked at 50c, is there anyway i can fix this / disable this lock on my temp?
