    Faster CPU/Temp Monitoring

"not sure why you would want that" I'm doing a custom desktop background using rainmeter. I've got a cpu graph that's constantly updating. If possible I'd like it to change fairly smoothly, rather than at big chunks every second or so. It's for aesthetics, not for any practical purpose.

    Faster CPU/Temp Monitoring

Is there any way I can get my bios to check the CPU usage and temperature faster? Right now I get CPU usage/temp readouts that update every second or so. I'd like a readout that was a bit more smooth, updating around every millisecond or at least every tenth of a second. I have no idea how to...

    $1700-$1800 Gaming/Cad Build

I would recommend the Fractal R4 as a good alternative. It's what I have in my build, and you can find them for around $30 less than the 410. It's a bit of an understated design, especially when compared to the 410, but if you want you can get one with a window and it looks pretty good. It's got...

    $1700-$1800 Gaming/Cad Build

Alright, I tried to keep it under $1200, but couldn't quite do it with the monitor. If you want, drop the ssd and the gaming peripherals, and add those in the future, and that should keep you under budget. That would be my recomendation. One other suggestion: I know you specifically said Newegg...

    Tom's Hardware Member System Gallery

My first build. I was aiming for something that could game pretty well and that would be unobtrusive and quiet for college/my dorm (read: not a Thermaltake Level 10 with billions of lights and fans). I think it went pretty well, I'm really happy with the way it turned out. Should hopefully be...

$700 budget gaming pc; ordering parts tomorrow!!

I have a friend that would like to build a new computer. He's not looking to be able to max crysis or anything, just to be able to play modern games decently. The absolute most important thing in this computer will be gaming performance, and everything else is secondary. With that in mind, what...

Best Mid-Range Air Cooler for New Build

I'm about to order parts for the following build. I originally was going to go with a Hyper 212 Evo, but I've decided I want a little more oomph in the cooling department. I'm not entirely sure about a huge cooler like the Noctua NH-D14 because of things I've read about motherboard stress and...

    $2500 Gaming/Rendering Build-Please Help!

I couldn't agree more. I just spent 30 minutes attempting to find the warranty for the dell and nothing... ASUS I found with ease, so I guess that's something right there. I generally trust high-end ASUS products too, which is why I switched to their motherboard as well. Good build quality all...
