At this point, I am not sure. I actually found a 7970 on craigslist for $275. I would have to look further to make sure everything is alright with it. Are there any makers that are better than others? I have a HIS card now, but I am not partial to anything.

Well, the reason I am getting a triple monitor setup is also for programming and stocks(should have put that in the OP, sorry). Hence, I wouldn't really be interested in spending more and keeping a solo monitor.

I think I expected this but just didn't want to accept it. I am thinking about sticking to 1 card at this point just so that in the future I can add another as an upgrade and not have to replace two cards. With a quick search in newegg the cheapest 7950 is about $380. How long will it be...

Yeah it turned out it was because I was using my old HD...wiped it and put on a fresh copy of Win7 and works like a charm.

Ok yeah..since it is turning on, I feel like most is connected properly. Since I am using my old HD I think that the problem is that.. I am going to wipe it then try a fresh OS install..

Now when I start it up I get to the Windows loading screen and then it restarts and says that it couldn't start properly last time and asks if I want to start Windows restore or start normally..

Ok, well, it was bc the HD was connected to the mobo and not the psu as well.. However, I still cannot get it to boot... Is it because I am using m old HD? Do I need to wipe it and install a new OS onto it?
