over clocking the processor would make my games lag??? I thought it would help preform better

my only concern is that some games on my pc still lag like assassin's creed black flag and rome2 total war any ideas???

on assassin's creed black flag i get 60 fps but soon as i move suddenly they would drop to like 45. i noticed it happens on certain angles.

OH sorry guys my mistake that was my old mobo I used the z87pro asus mobo for this build.

yes but u might get some shuttering on some games.
