i noticed that i still have the copy of the old windows files in my laptop. is there a way i can activate those files with out downloading the installer?

Is it possible to retrieve and activate previously installed windows 7 home premium without the installation cd? My friend installed an unlicensed windows 7 pro in her laptop and now I need to reactivate the licensed home prem previously installed.

i did tried that and still not working. here's the strange part. I tried my using my old HDD and SSD(with windows) and still not detecting the HDD. I also tried using other sata cable and unfortunately still not working. Do i need to set-up something in the BIOS so i can use ssd and hdd at at...

i'm using ASUS B85M-G motherboard with SSD. i've installed windows 7 in ssd and can't detect HDD.
