Hello Again, I've done what you said but the problem persists. Today it happened quite a few times. yes freshly installing the OS would likely fix the issue but that's a route I'd rather not go down if I could.

I will do that but just to clarify, the computer freezes up even without audio playing. Its just very obvious with audio but I'm doing that now.
