At this rate they are long way off seeing 270 performance and yes by the time they get to it, it will be struggling to run anything.....

He is not really killing the VRMs on that board....as long as he has good cooling and it sounds like it and hes VID is pretty decent too for that .... and obviously still running okay/stable.

Has really nothing to do with Core/thread application utilization with most things 4 is plenty....its just the simple fact that the FX individual core/thread performance is rather poor vs Intel.....Hence why you MUST overclock to achieve better performance....the FXs are so much better at 4.5ghz++
