Did not work unfortunately. It does not give any signal to the display besides the power on signal. Therefore I can't get into the bios at all. Only see the dram light. Any more ideas? Edit: thanks btw, great answer!

I just got my computer, it has a i5/6500 and a 980ti SC EVGA. However, I am getting 20 fps on battlefield 4 on medium. I am running 1440p but still, that is unbearable. I have the latest driver, anyone know what it might be?
