It booted up fine, which is a lot better than it was doing before. I'll likely take it into somewhere instead of messing with it again, but thank you. So I have an idea going in, what exactly is bios? And I've never messed with it, so why would it ever be OFF defaults?

I didn't think I'd have to reconfigure bios considering the new processor would fit the socket fine. But now I've tried switching back to the old processor and it hasn't made a difference. The motherboard has a dotted yellow light in the back whenever I turn it on, does that help at all?
