Do you mean that a water-cooled 290 will run the same temps as an air cooled 290? Or that all cards run the same temp on water cooling? ...?

Excellent responses, thank you people. I think for now I'll deal with the heat (honestly, it only gets game breaking when I'm playing very heavily modded Skyrim). Next build will be combine water cooling with GPUs that are also known to run cooler!
