    [SOLVED] Upgrading GPU (please help)

I have been searching for you on Amazon. But I guess you will need to save up a bit further I am afraid. Both the 2070 and 2060 Super are above 300 dollar. I would also want you to take a look at AMD's offering, the RX5700XT, which blows the 2070 out of the water and at a lower price.

    [SOLVED] Upgrading GPU (please help)

A 2060 Super does not suck at all, it is in fact quite a powerful card. It would be a noticable step up from your GTX 1060, roughly 50% performance increase. You should consider buying one if you play at 1080p, but you should keep in mind your resolution; for 1080p you would not see the...

[SOLVED] The Speed that you see in TaskManager, is that the speed for just one core or all 4 ?

You should be able to do a stress test on a laptop too. However it would not be able to sustain the full boost clock for a very long time, since the CPU in a laptop usually has limited thermal conduction. Therefore the temperature will rise sooner and the CPU will clock doen to prevent heat damage.

[SOLVED] The Speed that you see in TaskManager, is that the speed for just one core or all 4 ?

It all depends on the CPU you are using, you should look up the all core boost frequency and single core boost frequency. Then I would suggest you saturate the CPU with a stress test, so you can check if the CPU is performing conforming AMD or Intel Set your power scheme to High Performance in...

[SOLVED] Ryzen 5 3500 and rtx 2060 super bottleneck

I would suggest you use the 3600 which has SMT 6c/12t. I would want to point out that there is always a bottleneck in the system depending on which program you use. Sometime the GPU is bottlenecking, sometimes it can be the CPU. I can write a 3rd testament about that. However, A R5 3600 + RTX...

[SOLVED] The Speed that you see in TaskManager, is that the speed for just one core or all 4 ?

It is a combined number of all cores that you have in your system. Most of the time its not 100% accurate. If you want to monitor your CPU clock speed I would suggest using HWInfo :)

Question Black screen freeze, requiring manual shutdown- PSU?

Had the same problem once at a friend of mine. It was indeed the power supply. It usually came paired with full fan speed from the PSU. I suggest you borrow or buy another power supply just in case (atleast in NL where I live they have good 14 day return policies) . Try to run Prime95 and...

[SOLVED] 400w power supply enough for 2060

However, you should be able to try it out with the 400W (at your own risk). A good power supply has safety measures in place if the thing is not super sketchy. It will 9/10 turn itself off if the RTX 2060 and i5 is getting too much power draw

[SOLVED] 400w power supply enough for 2060

A 400w is a bit low to be honest, ypu would probably put it to the max, and that is not good for the longivity of the psu and it will probably get hot. The 12v line is the most important part of the powersupply. Good quality powersupplies usually underrate their power supplies however you should...

[SOLVED] Games won’t open I download

From my experience from my work, a full C: drive doesn't represent a healthy state of a Windows Installation. Ikr its a drastic solution, but I have a honest feeling the C: drive is full of unnecessary programs and probably infected too
