Every now and then when I turn on my PC my monitor says no HDMI signal detected. Usually if I turn it off and on again a few times everything is normal and I can use my PC. Sometimes it boots perfectly, and sometimes I need to restart like 10 times. This has been going on for a few months and...

So I am moving my PC into my room. I was originally beside the family PC in the living room, where our modem is (connected to phone jack). If I want ethernet in my room, do I use a router plugged into the phone jack in my room, or is it more complicated than that? Thanks in advanced

i have a 120gb ssd that I will use as a boot drive, as well storing programs. When I install windows, should I partition space (maybe 40gb) for my OS and use the rest for programs, or should I keep the whole drive as one and install the OS and programs as one? Thanks

If I create a ramdisk, will I lose memory? For example, if i set aside 1gb of ram to create the ramdisk, will I be only having 7gb of ram? (original is 8gb) thanks

My motherboard says it supports 1333 and 1600 speed of RAM. the higher speeds have to be OC'ed. My RAM is 1866, how can I make my motherboard support this? Thanks

Is this a good way to discharge static electricity? Install psu to case. screw the psu in, but instead of the last screw, use a standoff. ground psu by plugging it in and turning of rocker switch. attaching anti static strap to the standoff in the psu, then to body. Thanks
