i5 vs i7 is all about do you have the money? Do you want to future proof your machine? If yes to both then the i7 is the way to go. You will see a 20-30fps increase in your games with the i7 though. BF4 specifically you'll see around a 30fps boost.

Okay so DXTory does exactly the same thing as fraps but doesn't cause your FPS to drop. it's a much better software than fraps but it does cost money but it well worth it. I use DXTORY to record my BF3 and CS:GO videos!

To those that say that, I'd say that they are wrong. I have friends in BF4 Alpha and they're on both sides of ATI and Nvidia. From what they've told me when they compared FPS is that the Nvidia card still had higher frames. So to answer your question yes you should still get the 770.

Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3 hands down are the best FPS i've played in a while.

I'd go with the NZXT Phantom. Cooling seems to be better and it also has cooling options as well with fan control just incase you want to run more silent or need the extra cooling.

Option 1 would be the best. The other ones will be able to store your windows and a few other things and that's about it. As long as it's a good HDD then you'll be fine for fraps ( at least 7200). Also I'd invent in DXtory over fraps. You'll take a MUCH smaller frame hit.

Then the 2gb version of the 770 is the best option for you if you don't plan on going at a higher resolution later on. I'd get either Gigabyte or EVGA, tons of quality and performance in both. I have the EVGA GTX 770 SC and my cards get 1202mhz (box states 1163). I love the boost 2.0!

Oh also the scythe gentle typhoons are amazing as well. Between those 3 that I showed you though, I love the cougars.

What software do you have besides catalyst? ATI pro, MSI afterburner, etc? If you have those i'd uninstall them all. Use CC cleaner to clean up your computer. Uninstall all of ATI drivers and restart your computer. Then reinstall the drivers fresh.
