Only thing I feel it can be is that I've shorted or fried a part of the MB? Would buying a cheap sound card fix that?

I've double checked all the cables. Im going through the steps but half of them I cant do because the speakers doesnt even show up, just says they are unplugged.

I dont, I have a p8z77-v pro so its a quite old one.

So I just got done cleaning my PC, compressed air, each component on their own, like i've done 100 times before. After assembly I cant connect speakers to the back nor use headphones in the audio jack on the case. Any suggestions? Ive checked and replugged the cables.

I got this stop code : SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED What failed: CMUSBDAC.sys

It was only occured twice, once in game, once just browsing news online.

No errors found! Could it be faulty hardware?
