Okay so it turned out to be the motherboard's BIOS conflicting with the new card. I had to buy a new motherboard because it was too outdated. If you have a fairly new model and encounter this problem just try to update your bios.

So i just upgraded my gpu from an AMD HD7850 to an nvidia GTX970. The card works fine but booting the pc takes a lot of time considering i have an ssd and normally i boot in about 15 seconds, instead now i boot in about a minute or so. When i boot my computer it does not even show the...
