    Just a little update. Finally got around to re tubing the system and it works completely fine now without the riser cable. Can’t believe I missed that as an issue. Thank you all for your input and diagnostics!

    Next plan is then eliminating the riser cable as an issue and directly plugging the gpu into the mobo.

    I'll probably end up going this route. Wont happen today as I've got plans. But I'll get it done in a day or so. I will reply here when I have the results. Thanks for taking the time to brainstorm issues.

    Same thing happens even with the supported driver off the GPU page. Says its currently running @ x8 1.1

    Got any ideas? I'm about to try the supported driver directly from the GPU website and I will run the test again.

    This could take a bit, would need to drain + bend new tubing to have it directly in the mobo. Do you think it would be worth just trying a 4.0 riser cable if I can get one of amazon or something?

    Yes it came with the case which is a thermaltake p3. Pretty sure it is a 3.0.

    I can’t do that unfortunately. I replaced the 2070 because it died. The cpu, gpu, and psu I replaced at the same time. The only things that stayed the same were the mobo and ram.

My last monitor is plugged in with dp, it works if I plug it in with hdmi but I need the hdmi for my other screen. The cable works...
