I don't wanna use my front panel headphones jack because it will cause other usb port to get dusty.But i already had a speakers in the rear.Any way to stick them both to the rear?

My house got an internet package with 5mb/s.I think i got bottlenecked because im using wifi. I wanted to switch to ethernet cable,but problem is my pc is quite far from the modem.Its about 5 meter.If i switch to ethernet cable,will i get a better performance?
