    I tried different display settings (on PC), but don't know what they ought to be to match the TV.

    Connecting Toshiba Laptop to Sony Bravia TV, via VGA to HDMI Cable,1.8 M with Audio lead and USB lead. But get "Unsupported signal. Check your device output" on the TV. I get sound but no picture. (Previously when connected via VGA lead, I had picture but no sound).
