Those AMD 280s (7950s) have always been a great value (crypto-mania prices aside, of course). I've had good luck overclocking them in Crossfire. Roughly two of the 280/7950s equals the frame rate I get from a 780 Ti Classified.

Many apps feature an override for your phone's auto-lock (hopefully this one will). Or perhaps your phone allows you to leave the screen on indefinitely when plugged into a power source? Or you could disable the auto-lock behavior on your phone altogether...
