The only answer in any regard, is to simply wait and save etc to get the 8400 and 1060 6gb. In both cases, taking the lesser component is a big deal. If you wanna save money, get the 8100 and 1060 3gb. Otherwise see above. /thread

Tbh what id do is, use a reptutable deal site and wait for a prebuilt to come up. Ive seen a few solid builds for a pretty reasonable price. Similar to how decent gpus were easier to find in prebuilts at a reasonable price.

It depends what budget is... ram prices or soooo high right now its really hard to advocate building atm. Id say in any case go i5. Ideally an 8th gen. But maybe a i5 6600\k could be found cheap? But the ram is gonna burn. 2 years ago i paid 175 for 32gb ddr4 3200, its now 500+ smh

Yea I did. Its not like the intel iris is overly capable.. Itll be interesting to see what comes, but as of now all of there solutions including iris dont exactly warrant a tool such as this.
