One Graphics card works, two do not

Why are you adding 2 GPUs if you're not going to run SLI? Also, it sounds like your PSU is too weak.

Dual core vs tri core (Athlon II x3 445)

Will do, won't be able to for a while since I returned my 550 Ti (Bottleneck, but I thought there was something wrong with the GPU). Gonna get it replaced anyway, possibly buy the EVGA model rather than the lowest end ASUS one. My CPU seemed to be bottlenecking the GPU at my resolution...

Dual core vs tri core (Athlon II x3 445)

Ah ok. Still, will it make a positive difference in gaming with just the 2 cores? Also, I meant to say 3.7GHz with the dual core (3705MHz).

Dual core vs tri core (Athlon II x3 445)

Disregard my last thread, doesn't look like there's a difference between a B45 with a locked core and L3 cache and a normal Athlon II 445. I noticed, that when I disable the 3rd core on the Athlon, I can achieve a much higher overclock (~3.8GHz) on 2 cores, as opposed to 3.5GHz on 3 cores. Since...

    Fixing a bottleneck? 550 Ti

Should be getting my 550 Ti soon (Returned it for a refund because I thought there was something wrong with it). I'm planning on getting the EVGA model. Turns out my CPU (Athlon II x3) was bottlenecking the GPU due to the fact I was running at 1280x1024, causing the strain on the CPU because the...

Need help with graphics card gtx 560 ti, having issues!!!

Install the latest nVidia driver. You'll probably want 8GB RAM, especially if you plan on gaming. You should then be fine. For RAM, I would most recommened Mushkin (Preferably 8GB Redline or Blackline 1600MHz.)

New Build - Just need to decide on a video card

I'd go for the 6870; it is the most powerful of those listed, and you can use it. Great for gaming if you choose to do so in the future.

With the 9800GT, you should be good for now, though playing at a lower resolution might be advisable. The 9800GT seems to do fine with Fallout 3 according to these benchmarks, and I've heard that Dragon Age: Origins works fine with the 9800GT. Those benchmarks were done with a Core2Extreme...

Reducing CPU load at lower resolution?

Would it work by increasing graphics settings, or underclocking the GPU to balance the CPU and GPU more, since I won't be able to reach a higher resolution.
