So this worked for me (so far), plus one extra step: Open Nvidia control panel, navigate to manage 3D settings and change power management mode to prefer maximum performance. I'll try to report back if this fixes everything, but so far so good. How old is your rig?

Did you ever resolve your issue? I am having the same problem after upgrading to a gtx 1650 super. Random restarts under very light loads. I appreciate any perspective/advice you can offer.
