I have the i5 6600k oc to 4.38 went from 1080 to the ti.. not much difference.. other friends have a i7 and gett same or fps as i do.. some titles.. so i would say the i5 doesnt necessarily bottle neck.. just wont do much for u when its running at 100% .. Get the i7.. i want to.
