if your only gaming your better off saving some money with an i5 4690 and i would recommend the gigabyte version of the gtx 970 instead, change to h97 if not oc ing. but all in all good build.

if you can find a 780ti for cheap you should go for it, the 780ti is still one heck of a card. anyways the only drawback from it is that it uses more power that a 970.

You should be able to upgrade it but why? that GPU itself is rather powerful already. as well as that your APU might also be bottlenecking you current system.

If you are after the best cooling performance the gigabyte one is the best, but if you are looking for silence the msi or asus ones are better as the asus gtx 970 fans don't start spinning until a certain temp is reached.
