    Question New gaming monitor ?

RTings.com is one of the best sites for reviews of monitors and TV's. The Odyssey G6 is a solid monitor for gaming. https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/samsung/odyssey-oled-g6-g60sd-s27dg60 The only knock is that it's not a very bright screen overall. If you are using it in a dark room it...

    Question New gaming monitor ?

Your PC can handle gaming at 1440P or 4K just fine. OLED's offer the best possible viewing experience but the screens are glossy and can be subject to glare. Some models are better than others. Question Looking at timing for buying a new RTX 5080, thought?

I had this same decision the last few weeks. Last week the Micro Center near me had restocked 25 PNY 5080's at $1,100 (non-RGB) and they sold out within a couple of days. Next cheapest option was the RGB model for $200 more. They have a few Asus and Gigabyte but they are really quite pricey...

    Question Upgrade advice please.

If you want to squeeze a few more years out of the AM4 a 5700x3d or 5800x3d are viable options vs a new build. I'm still running a 5800x3d and have no issues with any game title. View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3yL9ZGzlBJU

Question Is PNY RTX 4070 TI Super XLR8 Gaming Epic-X a good choice ?

My PNY 4070ti has run with zero issues. Bought this when originally released in 2023. Had not bought a PNY product since old ATI days. Runs a 34" Alienware QD-OLED 21:9 at 1440p with ease. Great card! Would recommend.
