[SOLVED] Getting only 120Hz on 144Hz monitor on GTX 760 (Monitor - AOC AGON AG271QX)

Got the RTX 2060 recently, and it's working great now, with 144Hz and G-Sync Compatibility. Although I see "flickering" (changes in brightness) when on menus in a game. But game play isn't affected.

Question Crucial P1 - Compatibility with Gigabyte H370 Aorus Motherboard

You do have a point there with using a SATA drive. PCIe x2 would still give me 1700-1800 MBps (close to Crucial's 2000). Then again, P1's price is pretty much the same as an MX500 1TB here. Definitely a decision to make!

Question Crucial P1 - Compatibility with Gigabyte H370 Aorus Motherboard

Thanks for the info. I already have a Samsung 970 EVO running on the x4 slot. I just needed a less expensive, bigger storage. Which is why I'd like to install it on the x2 slot. I'd love a confirmation that it works before buying the Crucial P1. I wouldn't want to risk it, considering the info...

Question Crucial P1 - Compatibility with Gigabyte H370 Aorus Motherboard

Is the Crucial P1 compatible with the Gigabyte H370 Aorus WiFi motherboard? I'm interested in knowing if it'll work on the x2 slot as well. Info from here says it's not: https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/ct1000p1ssd8 I don't see why it wouldn't work. Has anyone tried this combo of SSD and...

[SOLVED] Can RAM of 3000 MHz run at 2666 MHz in XMP for an H370 Motherboard (Gigabyte Aorus H370 Gaming 3 WiFi)?

Thanks a lot! Here's an extended question. I couldn't find options to manually set the timings on the motherboard. I only see the timing details, with everything set to Auto, with no way to edit them. Could I be missing something? Or does H370 motherboards just don't support any kind of...

[SOLVED] Can RAM of 3000 MHz run at 2666 MHz in XMP for an H370 Motherboard (Gigabyte Aorus H370 Gaming 3 WiFi)?

I have a Gigabyte motherboard (Aorus H370 Gaming 3) which supports up to 2666 MHz RAM clocks. I see 3000 MHz modules that are easily available rather than the 2666 MHz ones. If I upgrade, does the XMP mode work such that these 3000 MHz ones can run at 2666 MHz, possibly at reduced timings?

[SOLVED] Getting only 120Hz on 144Hz monitor on GTX 760 (Monitor - AOC AGON AG271QX)

That's new info. Thanks. On the other hand, I guess I'll have to wait until I get my upgrade and test it out again! I just hope G-Sync compatibility works well!

[SOLVED] Getting only 120Hz on 144Hz monitor on GTX 760 (Monitor - AOC AGON AG271QX)

Thanks for that. I'm planning to upgrade soon to an RTX 2060. Do you think that'll solve the problem? Also, I'm assuming I can use the Adaptive Sync on it (G-Sync Compatible). Edit: If I reduce the resolution to maybe 1080p. that should give me an option for 144Hz. That's not working either. No...

[SOLVED] Getting only 120Hz on 144Hz monitor on GTX 760 (Monitor - AOC AGON AG271QX)

I recently got a 1440p 144Hz monitor (AG271QX). I have a GTX 760 right now (will upgrade soon). I'm using the DP cable that came with the monitor. I'm only getting an option to select 120Hz refresh rate. No 144Hz anywhere - Nvidia control panel, or monitor display properties. I even tried...

    NVMe Drive Ordering

I recently installed an NVMe drive and cloned my OS on to it. It's all good in terms of its working. But what I noticed is that, the NVMe drive ordering is such that it is the last "Disk" as per the task manager and the "Disk Management" tool NVMe = Disk 2 (C: ) SATA1 = Disk 0 (D: ) SATA2 =...
