    check your virtual memory settings. standard default windows config is to have virtual memory = ram. if you added ram you will see an equal increase in virtual memory. its under system properties -> advanced tab -> performance settings -> advanced tab -> change virtual memory -> set it to custom...

    opendns has more features, paid version has even more features. ISP most likely provides just basic DNS. if your workstation is configured to use opendns it will bypass router configuration. if your workstation points to router as dns server than the router configuration matters.

    yes, this is happening in Canada, nothing you or your ISP can do about it. most likely other players are DCing as well, you just don't know about it. have you talked to other people in your area, using the same ISP as you do, playing the same game at the same time?

    looks like your problem begins in Canada those guys are dropping your packets http://www.ormuco.com/ possibly your game is hosted on their servers and they are having issues, or being DDOSed, happens sometimes to game servers.

    sounds like your modem is failing. luckily modems are cheap you can get a nice brand new one for 30 - 40 bucks. edit. you said other devices in your household don't have this problem . . . .so you may have to replace the NIC on your PC, luckily they are even cheaper than modems
