News Intel finally announces a solution for CPU crashing errors — claims elevated voltages are the root cause; fix coming by mid-August

Personally, I haven't yet decided what to do with the cpu and the motherboard as I'm figuring out what Intel will or will not do. There is another option involving the online store from which the cpu was bought from, which I haven't yet wanted to explore. Some people might start selling their...

News Intel finally announces a solution for CPU crashing errors — claims elevated voltages are the root cause; fix coming by mid-August

They offered a "standard warranty replacement," which means I send the CPU to Intel for examination and then receive a replacement CPU afterward. According to them, the wait time is 7 business days. What can one say? How can one be without a...

Question MSI Z790 Carbon WiFi will only power on by using the BIOS Flash button ?

Question MSI Z790 Carbon WiFi will only power on by using the BIOS Flash button ?

Did that too. Tried booting with cpu/cooler/ram installed. No cigar. It will only boot via pressing the BIOS update button on the back panel. Will not boot via case power button or shorting the power pins on the mobo. Such a weird behavior.

Question MSI Z790 Carbon WiFi will only power on by using the BIOS Flash button ?

Dear forum members, The motherboard in question can’t boot by using the case power button or by shorting the power pins on the board. The only way to boot the board is to have a usb drive with a BIOS file connected to the usb bios port and pressing the BIOS update button on the backpanel. It...
