Okay after a few days, I am still having issues with my GPU, so reinstalling the drivers without the Nvidia app wasn't a complete fix.

I reinstalled just the driver without the Nvidia app and it seems to be working so far! It's only been a few hours so I don't know if it's all fixed just yet, so I'll be back in a few days to report.
