what do you guys think of this build ?

PCPartPicker formatting would help me a ton. The R9 390 is better and sometimes cheaper than the 970, or alternatively, you can wait for Polaris. You should also get an SSD and drop the CPU down to an i5-6500.

What cooler should I get for my build?

If I was advised against the R1U, I'm definitely not getting the H5. I'm done with them.

What cooler should I get for my build?

    Are these parts compatible?

Yes, but the R9 380 is better than the 960. You also want to avoid AMD, I use this exact build (8350, R9 280x, crappy 120gb SSD) and it performs okay. Your PSU is also a turd.

Which case fits my air cooler

I'd stick to the Noctis. You don't want or need a full tower. I also don't see the appeal in the Phantom cases, they look cheap.
