Hi, i have a G72 hp laptop with a dead gpu chip and a black screen of death. I had the gpu chip reflowed successfully a couple of months ago and now it is dead again cause it is temporary fix anyway. Problem solved The issue was caused by faulty ram. i run memtest as suggested and one stick of ram passed the test, 6 hours with no errors. The faulty stick generated 12000 errors within one minute

Ok thanks for the help i will try each stick at a time at different mobo slots and see what happens.

Is there any way to test cpu like ram with software like memtest?

Hi, i built a new pc and i am getting bsods at random times while gaming or browsing. I reset bios to default values (in case memory timings or frequency is causing the problem) but still the bsods persist. I cheched ssd with crystaldiskinfo but it shows no errors and sfc /scannow checks valid...
