Just an update: So I for got to put this thing on the new case. I don't know how but after installing it, the audio works like it should with no static noise at all. I hope this helps those who run into the same problem as I did.

If you don't care about power efficiency, I'd suggest the R9 380, it's a 256-bit card and performs a bit better.
