I set the RAM speed and the fabric clock in the BIOS. For now it seems to be holding. Thanks for the answers.

When I get home I'll try setting it in BIOS and I'll see it if it works... it's a 3200 mhz ram so it should be 1600 on the fabric but it always drops back to 1200

I've had this CPU for more than a year and this issue only came up in the last few months. Every time I set the fabric clock to the correct amount to match my ram after some restarts the fabric clock drops back to the usual 1200. In this case, the desired amount would be 1600. Any suggestions on...
