I removed the ssd and plugged in a back up shdd that I have with windows 10 installed on it. It trys to load windows, windows icon shows up and the loading symbol below it. It than freezes aswell and pc need to be shut down. I thought maybe ssd issue.

Sorry I should of mentioned that aswell. I did reset the bios and also tried a (last known good bios) Also I did reset the cmos with the onboard button.

Hey, I did not clear the cmos after installing the 980 but I did update the bios after it wouldn't work the first few times. I thought that would over-ride doing the cmos but I can definitely give it a try.

Bring it down to see if a different display works with it in his pc?
