Didn't work. I sent it to a repairman and as I suspected, the power button on the case was broken and the computer is fine thanks for trying to help though :)

Yup, I just checked and it didn't affect it

I moved the cable ties and added a couple of wires to the bunch.i also moved around the wires connected to the power button, and I don't recall having any static socks either
