My memory conrtoller is very hot already on h100i regually hits 50 where as before sat at mid 30s. I am guessing board is clocking it to run ram that fast, will more memory create more heat?

Cmos is bios can you do full reset of bios by removing battery and moving jumper on board? Your motherboard manual will explain how this is done for you. Once this is done check bios settings for ram and make sure its in single channel or tripple as you have three sticks.
