    Welp, I tried what everyone else told me to try, but it didn't work. It did say it plugged in correctly along with the ding noise, but it never showed up on "This PC" Thanks for your help though.

    Okay so, I had the chance to plug in my hard drive to my new computer via SATA cable to USB and I wanted to look at my documents/files.
