I agree. Seagate drives have some of the highest failure rates in the industry. Not sure why anyone would be interested in owning such a large drive without having a backup plan (maybe buy 2 or 3 of them)?
Instead of leaving merger's of this size up to FCC and FTC, why not let the people who use their services vote on it? Oh wait, that's because most of us HATE these companies for being evil. Yeah, justice will never happen. Ah well...
Awesome to hear this. Myst was a ton of fun back in the day.
If it makes it to the SyFy channel it'll get cancelled after a season or two despite the ratings or SyFy will put it on a terrible time slot and then cancel it. I hate you SyFy....
I'm going to make a Google Glass game called, Sun Stare and you get points for every second you stare into the sun. You can then compete with other Glass users through a high-score leader board. Genius!
@ssalim, It's funny how Tom's site just keeps getting worse. I think developers of this site are actually grade-school students working on a class project.
@scubadog40 I read it the same way. No way would I put NASCAR on my resume (unless it was released by Papyrus in '94). They have no clue what they are doing with that series... :(
I use Seagate drives for my headless HP Media Center (2 x 2TB, 2 x 1TB) and they have been 100% reliable in an always on environment for close to 3 years straight up-time. I would have absolutely no complaints if something were to fail today.

How is this any different than iLO on HP or Dell DRAC ports on those servers... remote desktop over a standard browser. This has been around for a LONG time...
