Sorry if that question might sound very dumb, but couldn't i slap an i9-990k on my current Motherboard? i7 6700k and i9 9900k both use LGA1151 right?

So should i also upgrade my CPU? I just upgraded my GPU and with my old 980ti i had better performance when there's a lot of action :( Just when there's no action at all i have much better FPS it's very strange

I just maxed pretty much everything out. In Spawn the GPU usage was around 70% with about 120fps. But when i was somewhere where's a lot of action my frames dropped to about 60fps consistently, GPU Usage at 40% and CPU usage 95 - 100%.. :( wtf?

I ran BFV with everything on minimum lul. But also when i switched everything to ultra the CPU / GPU usage was pretty much the same

I'm using an Intel Core i7 6700k at 4.3Ghz and a RTX 2080 TI. In some games my CPU usage is around 90 - 100% while my GPU doesn't get hit really. (Battlefield V: CPU 90 - 95% usage, GPU: around 50% usage) Is something wrong with my PC, is my CPU bottlenecking or is it just Battlefield V which...
