    Local cache server Windows 10

Long story short the internet at my Squadron's home base is garbage. I have an HP Proliant DL360 G5 server I'm not using. It has plenty of CPU, RAM, and HDD for what I'm proposing (I think). I want to connect this server to the network and use it to cache certain sites locally, to improve load...

What do you think of this build?

Don't use the RX 480. It's less powerful than the GTX 1060, let alone the 1070. You'll have a major loss in performance. Also, don't bother with Windows 10 Pro unless you're certain you need that feature set. The 5400 RPM drive will be SLOW! Also, that liquid cooler is overkill for an i5. A...

What do you think of this build?

That's an OK build, but here's my thoughts: That i5 will probably be your bottleneck with a GTX 1070. I'd go for an i7-6700K. Same socket, overclockable, all that jazz. Go ahead and get a 800W+ power supply. It will be more efficient running at a lower power. The gaming monitor is fine...

    USB3.0 dock for external GPU

And it is really nice - it runs some games better than my HD 5850, and with my Samsung 850 EVO SSD, it has a 3 second cold bootup.

Update: Guy said he'd 'split the difference' with me and take $100. So I just got a really nice laptop for $100!!!

    USB3.0 dock for external GPU

Well, I'd like a laptop, simply for portability. My Dad's office has a 17" Acer laptop that they aren't using. I offered them $200 for it, here's the specs: Intel i7-4510U 8GB DDR3 Nvidia GeForce 840M Not sure about the HDD/SSD, but I'll be dropping a 250GB SSD in it anyways. Now, if that...

    USB3.0 dock for external GPU

I'm looking for a USB3.0 dock for an external GPU. Similar to this: http://www.proflixsales.com/products/akitio-products/akitio-t2pc-tia-aktu-ak-t2pc-tia-detail?gclid=CjwKEAjw_LG8BRDb1JTxm8uP_UwSJADu_8pWCRoeE4g9uYCjSKAta2En7VL3RBejnWianX12MXuQLBoCFM_w_wcB But I need it to run over USB3.0...

ASUS M2N4-SLI does not like ECC RAM

I think that rather than mess with RAM in this machine, I'll just go ahead and order my new build sooner. 6th gen Intel, 16 (maybe 32)GB DDR4, nice mobo. *sigh*
