Alright, thanks your your answer, but is there any way my current power supply could support the 760? Buying a new power supply is kind of a pain, but is there any way I could get like a 4-pin molex to a 6+2 pin connector?

Thanks- If the power supply does't work properly, will it have any chance of shorting out the 760? Power isn't my area of expertise.

ALright so it sort of fixed itself, I just shut it down for a few hours then turned it back on. I'm assuming it was some sort of power problem in the CMOS battery, and hopefully this fixes it. Now hes claiming he was "in the wrong place at the wrong time."

I forgot to say I am upgrading my PSU anyway for the GFX cards- the current PSU only has 1 6 pin plug, and the 7950 and 760 use a 6 pin and a 6+2 pin. I have a good PSU in mind, for cheap, but it is only 500 watts. So the GTX 760 is the way to go?
