Just installed SSD and see now speed increase

RE: any idea about the read only thing? Go to My Computer > Properties of Drive C: > Permissions > Allow permission to read and write with the SSD If you don't see this, burn a free Linux ISO onto a disk (it's completely free, not pirated) and start up your computer, with the configuration of...

    980ti or 980 sli?

You are better off staying with the card you have right now, but if you really want an upgrade, get a single 980 ti. Don't spend lots of money on a Titan X, which has very close benchmark scores as the 980 ti. And, btw, you are talking about the TOP OF THE LINE GPUs, and the 980 should be able...

    Storage Backwards Compatibility

I am shopping for an SSD, but I don't know what SATA level my SATA cables/mobo ports. So, are SATA levels backwards compatible, like what sandisk said on this resource? And if so, suggest a cheap (40-60 dollar) reliable SSD. I have already found a PNY SSD for $60 at 120 GB, SATA III. I am not...

    [SOLVED] Change cpu socket

If you are looking forward to replacing a damaged socket, you are wasting you life. Simply remove and replace the mobo, and sell the other on ebay/amazon And btw, tell me what the full name off your mobo is, and what CPU you use(d) with it.

current or next generation AMD cpus??

I would recommend going with the FX-8350, as a new generation of AMD CPUs would take maybe a few weeks to months to years to be released, and in which it won't be much better than the current top AMD CPUs. If you are looking to run Windows 10 on gaming without any problems, I would suggest an...

    Dell CPU Replacement

I have a Dell Dimension E520, and would like to replace the Pentium D with a CPU desired to be at least twice as good. The benchmark is (assuming that it's a Pentium D 915) 593 points. The socket type is LGA775. I hope to put in a Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.40GHz, but I am sure I saw somewhere...

Are all PLGA775 socket CPU's interchangable?

Just because they are the same socket type doesn't mean that they are compatible. Check the CPU support list to ensure the compatibility.

    Dell Dimension CPU

Yes, I hate dealing with old computers because of the previous posts I made, but I have a relative with the Dell Dimension E520. Now, there are 2 types of E520s: The E520 with a Core 2 Duo, and the E520 with the Pentium D, in which I have the Pentium D. What I want to know is what Pentium D type...
