No not overclocked, I meant taking them out and re inserting them. It fixed my friends problem. I did just run 3D Mark 11 benchmark and that ran fine. gpu 1- 99%, 2- 80%+ I did turn off x-fire and tried the first card in-game and the % went up and down with the graphics settings.

I did not try them one at a time, and the 6970 is the closer one to the cpu. This is why I don't get why the second one is spiking to 99%. As far as the performance pre-issue, it was amazing. I could do the 24 man raids on almost maxed out settings with no lag and the cards weren't maxing out...
