Thanks for your reply, I have just quickly tried lowering graphics and there is a significant improvement. For reference I was playing ark survival, I usually play on medium settings and i get about 40 fps but with low settings I was about 80 fps hitting 100 quite often.

I have windows 8.1 at he moment. Is it he same product key for Windows 10? I am on holiday at the moment, but I believe I do not have the update yet. So is it best to wait till that or do your method?

I want to clean install Windows 10. I'm have bought a new SSD to run this on. So I want to completely wipe everthing on my hard drive at the moment and start fresh with the windows 10 on the ssd. I don't care about files as I use onedrive. What is the best method to get my w10 on the ssd?

I have exactly the same motherboard and problem as you. try booting off the windows install disk and see if it does anything? It has now booted up my computer normally. Although my graphics card always turned on.
