    Overclocking the i7-7700K

He has a different CPU can't compare. I have a 6700k @4.6ghz with 1.325v, with my noctua nhd14 I get 70c average and peaks at 80c for just a sec everyone and awhile I literally just got a Nzxt kraken x52, once I install it I'll come back and report my temps.

    Overclocking the i7-7700K

Use a different program to montior temps, as many different ones you can find, to make sure it's reading correctly

    Overclocking the i7-7700K

air is better then a watercooled setup? my 6700k at 4.6ghz with 1.325c is mid 60's with a noctua nhd14 with 3 fans on it(the extra fan is a coolermaster jetflow 120mm)

Your graphs look fine, just mine that are messed

    Gigabyte Offset Voltage

On my computer, nothing shows right it doesn't see my overclock CPU, my vcore is a constant .6v lol, every graph is wack.

    Skylake 6700k fixed voltage

I bet your barely stable then, I would try upping the voltage a little bit and using adaptive voltage. 1.265v is great though, dont really need adaptive voltage

Safe vcore for 6600K? Looking for tips!

Actually leaving your CPU at full volts is roughly $5 a month if you left your computer on 24/7 Buy that's nothing really. It if he can drop the voltage I would suggest it,why keep it a constant voltage if you.can make it drop too .8v at idle? since he doesn't have adaptive voltage he should...

Safe vcore for 6600K? Looking for tips!

I had to use use adaptive voltage to get the voltage to drop instead of manual voltage. If you don't have that you can use offset voltage

    i5 6600k overclocking temps

Relax OC basically takes a kit lets say 3000mhz with 15-15-15-35 timings and makes it 3000 mhz with 16-17-17-40 timings. It makes it a decent amount slower but will still run you at that bandwidth.

    Skylake 6700k fixed voltage

you can still make you computer dial down the mhz and volts, just use adaptive voltage. on my asus(might have to google how to do it on your motherboard) you can select adaptive voltage, a menu will pop up called max turbo voltage, dial in 1.265v. in windows make sure your power plan is in...

    I5 6600k vs i7 6700k with a Z170A Krait Gaming 3X motherboard

I play on 1440 resolution, and every new game release I see the CPU being used alot more then the past few years.look at gears of war 4, the i7 smokes the i5, same with bf1. Will the i5 be good enough today, yes. In the future I don't think so as more and more games are becoming mutlicore...

Exactly, even my 6700k at 4.6ghz is getting used pretty hardcore in bf1
