i figured it out. i do not need a fan controller. my ASUS z97 Sabertooth mark 1 fan Expert software works perfectly. no need for the controller.

Some changes brotha.. I STRONGLY recommend going with the Corsair 540 Case. Also, Go with the MSI Twin Frozr 970 or the ASUS STRIX. ( i preferr the MSI) there is NO need for 32 gigs of ram unless u plan to do some massive video editing. which on the Z87 chipset...really isnt the best choice...
