I have a Clear CMOS button and a Reset switch on my mobo. I tried updating to latest BIOS and it said invalid file or something similar. Getting concerned.

Could this be a mobo problem? Cold start hangs on ASUS logo, then I hit reset, then loads Win10 fine. Mobo is X99 and a year old. OS drive is M.2 Samsung 950.
